Sweet Georgia is exactly that.....this mare is a horse owner’s dream. She is respectful, willing, calm and forgiving. We purchased Georgia as we wanted a safe and excellent trail horse, with competitive capabilities, and a horse that could also doing ring work and basic dressage skills. Our trails are technical, tough and at times remote. Quite often we need to send one horse ahead to check the trail condition, and other horses have to wait patiently, or we had to cut out trails and the horses need to wait patiently. Horses that do well in this environment and most desirable by riders need to be able to move vertically off your leg, stop and wait, go forward carefully, and watch where they go, be tolerant and unconcerned with other horses or wildlife, and be happy to “go the distance”. Georgia has so far demonstrated she meets all these desirable traits. She is super soft in the bridle, patient and calm, but also possessing a ears-up happy to see what is around the next corner.
