'Rosa'

'Rosa De Corazon NHF' is a 1/2 Andalusian,2006, 16hh Mare, Registered with the Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association
 
'Rosa' is a daughter of the many time Andalusian National Champion Stallion, 'Mystique's Manolete'. Her dam is a registered Saddlebred mare who was known for her smooth gaits and outstanding ridability and temperament.
 
With the help of Cooper, Devanee started Rosa as a 2 yr old, and again rode her briefly in her 3 yr old year. As a 4 yr old, Rosa is now in our Horse Development Program. She is gaining confidence in both the arena and out on trails., As most of you already know we hit the trails right away with our youngsters. (photos below are from her first ride up the Raush Valley) Rosa is right where she should be in her development as we keep stacking up the good experiences that are going to make for a sure foundation.
 
Rosa has elastic gaits, yet is a smooth ride from the saddle. She has lots of forward movement which has been a pleasure to work with. As far as 'horsanality' goes, Rosa is definately an extrovert. She is curious and one of the first to greet you out in the herd. Rosa is a 'thinker', quickly figuring out puzzles and has thus been very trainable.
  
'Rosa' came to Cardinal Ranch from a reputable breeder/owner as a 2 yr old. She has since had the benefit of the Parelli Program as well as ranch life living in the herd The result has been an outstanding mare that has mutured in both mind and body.
