Meet 'Khai' , A big horse with a big heart!

17+hh, 12yo Registered Canadian Gelding

Since being at Cardinal Ranch this gelding has been Mr.Versatility. Khai came from a loving home out in Ontario and has really flourished in the Cardinal Ranch Program. Khai was already assessed for Level 2 of the Parelli Natural Horsemanship Program and is currently doing the Level 3 Development Program with Instructor, Don Halladay. His foundation lends itself well to being ridden both english and western. He jumps a good heigth confidently and with ease. Khai is also easy going on the trails and has taken in a few cattle drives as well. He is an overall wonderful partner with lots of years left for a person who likes a nice, sturdy mount. Khai shows his best potential with a student that has good leadership qualities and likes to put some purpose into their horse time.

Comments from Devanee: In my opinion Khai is just hitting his stride. I was so surprized that a horse his size could feel so great from in the saddle. He's big, but doesn't feel drafty, he's all saddle horse. He has helped us out a few times when we had needed him to lead young horses. He just does better when you have a plan for him and is sweet about doing a job. You can't help but feel pretty magnificient from the saddle on this horse!
