Matching exceptional horses with exceptional humans, that is what our horse sale program is all about. Our clients are not just looking for their ‘next horse’ but for a partner of a lifetime. We think you’ll agree that having an outstanding equine partner is one of life’s biggest pleasures.
Let us tell you a little about our horses . . . . Imagine horses raised in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Growing up in herds that run free over miles of mountain ranch land. Youngsters that are handled naturally from the very start. First relationships based on trust, respect, and partnership.
At Cardinal Ranch, this is a reality for our horses. A spectacular mountain setting and savvy gained from the Parelli Natural Horse.man.ship Program has made life pretty good for our horses.
Our herds consist of many breeds. We are most proud of our ‘ranch bred’ Quarter horses that have been in our family for generations, but there is also a good selection of Appendix Quarter horses, Canadian Warmbloods, Arabian and Thoroughbred crosses, and even a few gaited horses.
What they all have in common is quality. Good looking and good minded is what you will find in the herds of Cardinal Ranch horses. If they are not good enough for us, we won't pass them along to you. We sell our horses when they are at their prime and in a confident place in their development. This sets up apart from much of the horse market where horses are usually sold for pretty much any other reason you can think of.
Nature’s playground is full of challenges that provide an excellent foundation for our young horses. Life in the herd, mountain trails and river crossings bring our horses to a level of confidence not common among horses today. The Parelli Natural Horse.man.ship Program adds the next ingredient as horses are developed towards their full potential. The results are versatile, confident equine partners that are ready to offer their confidence to you!
Whatever your goals are with horses, the right partner will help get you there.
