When my horse died in November of 2006 and my 14-year partnership with him came to an end, I was in so much pain that I didn’t think I could ever own another horse . Over the course of the past seven months, I came to realize how lost I was without an equine partner in my life so I made the decision that if I was to get another horse, I wanted a Parelli-trained horse because I knew that was the only way to go! When I found the Cardinal Ranch website on the Internet, I was immediately drawn to “Sweet Harmony” because of his personality description as “sweet and tender” and his Parelli training. I was so impressed with Devanee right from the start because it was so obvious that they are people with integrity who truly care about their horses and are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that they find the right owners for their horses.
Some might think I’m nuts for traveling all the way from California to Canada for a horse, but once I started communicating with Devanee and learned more about “Sweet Harmony,” I knew in my heart that it was the right thing to do! I was welcomed with open arms and have never met more genuine people than Devanee and Buddy, and the volunteers on the ranch were second to none in their smiling faces and willingness to help!
I worked with “Sweet Harmony” in a three-day clinic with Don Halladay and WOW-- what an amazing Parelli instructor he is and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet! “Sweet Harmony” turned out to be everything that I dreamed he would be and I’m so grateful to Devanee and Buddy that I will now have the opportunity to be his partner! I am so looking forward to my future with “Sweet Harmony” all the good times that I know we will have!
Thank you to everyone at Cardinal Ranch for such an awesome experience in Canada and most of all, thank you for my new equine partner!
